Red Light Fever?

A few days ago, I did an L.A. based morning radio show called Morning Becomes Eclectic
Click Here to listen to me playing bass with Nikka

Nikka's new album, Pebble to a Pearl, is great. I think you should check it out HERE!

KCRW is located at Santa Monica college, in the basement of the cafeteria. I know, that sounds lowly right? Public radio! Anyway, we set up in what seemed to be an old, wood floored/panneled studio- and they had some great gear too. Aaron set his drums up in the corner, in a little room built of baffles- see?------

Everybody set up in a circle- trombone and trumpet even!- and when the red 'on air' light came on, we were on! A new kind of Red Light Fever. The nerves went away pretty fast, since the music is so damn fun. I wish it had lasted a bit longer- there's just something about the pressure of live performance that really sets it off when everyone is hitting it.
